November 6, 2013 ENCINITAS, CA – Karbon Speed LLC, a Texas company, announced it sold all of its assets to a California company led by cycling industry veteran, Chris Evertsen. Since Karbon Speed™ began selling its aerodynamic carbon wheels through a "direct-to-consumer" model in 2012, the brand has gained a reputation among triathletes and competitive cyclists as the source for high-quality, high-performance aerodynamic carbon wheels and components.Karbon Speed XA™ wheels have a wide fairing profile design that offers excellent aerodynamics and performance. Purchasers can select from several models and a variety of upgrades in spokes and hubs, as well as custom lacing, to create a personalized wheelset that meets a rider's specific needs but at a reasonable price. A selection of tires and cassettes are also offered so that the wheels can arrive "ready to ride."
