Raleigh, NC — Carolina Ale House’s newest location at Brier Creek’s Alexander Place Promenade opened for Lunch and Dinner Thursday, December 8th with the same great food, sports and fun that patrons have come to expect. The first Carolina Ale House was opened on Creekside Drive in Raleigh in 1999. The restaurant flourished and locations in Cary, North Raleigh and Durham soon followed. An additional restaurant in Weston, Florida opened last year. Future locations include Apex, Wilmington, Wake Forest and Columbia, SC. The goal is to expand the chain throughout the Southeast.
“I am very excited about the opening of our fifth area restaurant,” said Owner Lou Moshakos. “I want to continue to provide the highest quality of food and service on a local level that continues to make us a success.”
The Triangle Business Journal recently recognized Moshakos as one of the Fast 50 Entrepreneurs of the Triangle. In addition, the restaurant group has won numerous awards from several area publications including Best Sports Bar (Spectator, The Independent, Metro Magazine), Best Bar Food (Spectator) and Best Beer Selection Metro Magazine). The Carolina Ale House was also the Best of City Search Sports Bar winner four years in a row.
The Carolina Ale House is a sports-themed restaurant with five locations: Raleigh, Cary, North Raleigh, Durham and Brier Creek. This award-winning chain is owned by local restaurant group, LM Restaurants, the parent company of other Triangle eateries: Papa Lou’s, a quick serve concept and Taverna Agora, a Greek restaurant and bar.
