October 8, 2013 - Dr. Lee Todd, inventor, entrepreneur, and former president of the University of Kentucky, joins the advisory committee of Louisville-based software company FacilityONE®. A leading provider of cloud-based facility management software, FacilityONE is currently working with the nation's third largest faith-based health system for an enterprise-wide, multi-phase rollout of the FacilityONE Facility Information Solution (FIS)."I have been involved with FacilityONE for the past year, and in that time I've yet to hear bad news from a customer," said Dr. Todd. "I have quite a bit of experience in software – managing it, selling it, and keeping it supported out in the field. I know enough to say that if a company has over 40 million square feet of facilities documented worldwide, and is getting recurring purchases from existing customers, that's a good company. I'm proud to work with a company that is creating opportunities for Kentuckians to impact the world."
FacilityONE has pioneered the use of cloud technology and interactive floor plans in facility management software. The company's innovative implementation service utilizes a small, dynamic team to swiftly document any facility's critical asset information. Earlier this year, the team successfully implemented the FIS in 19 regional hospitals and ancillaries in less than five months.
Dale Cain, founder and CEO of FacilityONE, said: "Dr. Todd's extensive experience and background with software companies and as an entrepreneur are great assets to our advisory committee and the entire FacilityONE team. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to work with a leader of his caliber. I speak for the entire committee when I say how grateful we are that Dr. Todd chose to invest his time and talent to develop FacilityONE into a world-class company."
