Performing acts include:
ROXY PAIN (featuring local screenprint heroes Kayrock & Wolfy of Kayrock
Screenprinting,
Inc.) Roxy Pain is. These mascara damaged art drunks formed Roxy Pain in
1971 in London, Ontario. The only surviving members of a social
experiment gone terribly wrong. When their leader and guru "the old
one" revealed himself as a follower of Cthulhu; they took their
energies and abilites and directed them at the evil of "organized
things". Current members are Wolfy Pt II., Kayrock, Mike P. and O.J.
Over the years the band has gained and lost the following members
(never to sacrifice or murder): Sandra H., PCRZ, Omid Y., Trisha M.,
Emily "Piano God" M., Pia V. and Chris M.
ROYAL ARMS (Pop from Brooklyn)
NO THINGS (Blast First Petite)
New York trio n0 things fuse psychedelic nuclear rhythms and apocalyptic
dirges into arresting songs reminiscent of Swans and Dog Faced Hermans.
Singer Christian Dautresme's (Chicago’s HiM) biting delivery is
underscored by his acrid guitar melodies, while bassist Pat Noecker
(ex-Liars) and drummer Ron Albertson (ex-Liars) provide the menacing
sounds that go bump and thump in the dark.
SAXON SHORE (Burnt Toast Vinyl). Says ohmyrockness.com of Saxon Shore:
Make no mistake, Saxon Shore is clearly a guitar band, but they also
rely on electronic piano loops, scattered triangle twinkles, dubs, and
even accordions to create these dreamlike soundscapes. We really like
this band and we think you would really like them too. Go see them.
