Launched in 2009, the consumer protection ProMover program certifies quality, professional movers and help clients avoid imposters known and "rouge operators" within the industry. Before Berger Allied was recognized as a ProMover, the AMSA screened for any felony convictions of the company's owners, officers or majority stockholders regarding matters over which the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Surface Transportation Board (STB) or any state consumer protection agency has jurisdiction. Berger Allies also had to provide certification of company ownership with the appropriate state corporation commission and a review of the website for improper advertising. ProMovers are also required to have a "satisfactory" or better rating by the Better Business Bureau - Berger Allied plus boasts an A+ rating.

As a ProMover, Berger Allied reviews will be evaluated annually to make sure the company continues to subscribe to AMSA's program requirements of providing professional and reliable services.
