New ParkCAD version promises to revolutionize the way parking facilities are designed

Transoft Solutions, the leaders in pioneering CAD based software for the architectural and engineering design sector, has just announced a new version release of its unique parking lot design software. ParkCAD 2 hosts a selection of new and powerful user-friendly features that boost ‘built-in intelligent functions’ with greater ease of use which will enable the end-user to quickly and efficiently generate parking layout alternatives from conceptual design right up to and including preliminary and final design layouts. In development since December of 2004, ParkCAD 2 has been touted by many in the parking industry to be the de facto standard for parking facility design.

~ The ability to define entrance and exit points for parking lots
~ The capability to shift internal rows while generating parking lots
~ Dynamic mid-island creation which allows for instant placement in parking layouts
~ The ability to view aisle construction lines to visually display the area required for vehicle parking maneuvers
~ Island construction lines shows the amount of space needed to design custom islands to the user’s required standards
~ Ability to select multiple elements (i.e. rows, stalls, islands, etc.) and edit to desired specifications and standards
~ Full compatibility with AutoCAD 2006
