Travefy releases a new and improved group travel planner

New Travefy version includes an open trip page as the centralized hub to access all features

LINCOLN, NE, July 31, 2013 – Travefy, a group travel planner that solves the coordination headaches of travel, released a new and improved version today. This new Travefy version changes the way in which users interact with the site with the addition of an open Trip Page.

The Trip Page is a user's centralized hub to quickly and easily access all of Travefy's great features independently and when needed. Among other improvements, Travefy has also enhanced its hotel offerings with the release of a group hotel service that provide discounts up to 75% on group hotels.

Using Travefy, a user can now:

Invite friends to a trip by syncing Facebook or Gmail accounts or adding emails

Poll your friends socially to find your best trip

Collaborate on trip details using your private shared planning wall

Over the past six months Travefy has received several honors including 1st place at both the 2013 Columbia Engineering Venture Capital Competition and the Columbia Business School Lorne Weil Business Pitch Competition 2013 in addition to receiving a development prototyping grant from the Nebraska Innovation Fund.
