This year, Merryl Brown Events is a finalist in the 2013 ISES Award Competition in the category, Best ISES Team Effort Budget $75,000 – $200,000 USD, for their 2012 Pacific Pride Foundation's (PPF) Royal Ball event.

Last year, the Royal Ball was esteemed "Best Event of the Year," according to The Santa Barbara Independent. Due to the great success of last year's ball, the 2013 Royal Ball nearly doubled its guest count as well as the net proceeds.
