TrainSmart provides Customized Train-the-Trainer and Sales Training to Florida Community Bank

Carla Trombly, Vice President of Training and Sales Development, announced that TrainSmart, a Chicago area based, woman owned, global organization that provides services that improve individual and organizational performance, was the vendor of choice to collaborate with in 2012 to help improve training skills for their newly developed training department and create a more customer-focused, consultative sales team.

TrainSmart customized their IBCT Certified Train-the-Trainer with activities, discussion, and content that focused on the specific training needs for FCB's training team. The workshop covered essential skills such as Understanding Adult Learning, Proper Visual Rules, Incorporating Activities, and Presenter Skills . Practice is a key element of improving skills. Participants prepared an practiced a 10 minute training session which was recorded. Participants received immediate verbal feedback from the facilitator and co-workers, written feedback and the recorded session on a mini-dvd for their own critique. The results were extremely positive. Comments included, "best workshop in my career", "facilitator was both personable and professional", "the practice sessions were very valuable".

Sales Communication Training was provided to a separate group that covered consultative selling, building relationships, body language, tone and intent of your message, choosing the right verbiage for clarity, listening skills, the art of asking questions, creating a value proposition, overcoming objections and coaching for improvement.
