Myrtle Beach, SC, Orlando, FL, Washington, DC May 15, 2013 - Thinking Outside the Boxe, an independent and non partisan think tank, is honored to announce that Digger Cartwright has released his latest novel entitled Conversations on the Bench, a motivational book inspired by the two founders of Thinking Outside the Boxe. Digger Cartwright, well-known mystery writer, industrialist and founder of the National Federation of Self-Published Author Entrepreneurs, attended his first Thinking Outside the Boxe annual symposium in 2007 and has been an active contributor to the think tank since then. He wrote Conversations on the Bench as a tribute to Sebastian G. Peréy, who was instrumental in developing Thinking Outside the Boxe along with Robert M. Clinger III.
Conversations on the Bench chronicles Sebastian's wit, wisdom and life lessons as shared through a series of conversations with Robbie at various locations throughout Myrtle Beach over the years. With his experiences in writing novel, Digger Cartwright brings new life and hope to all readers with a book offering inspirational advice for people of all ages and walks of life. Mr. Cartwright ensures that readers will be able to identify Sebastian's lessons that are relevant to their own lives and apply Sebastian's advice to overcome their own unique challenges.
Robert M. Clinger III, co-founder of Thinking Outside the Boxe, issued the following statement:
I and everyone involved with Thinking Outside the Boxe are very excited about Digger Cartwright's latest novel, Conversations on the Bench. This project has been a long time in the making. I first approached Mr. Cartwright with the idea for this book back in 2007 following his participation in our symposium. It's taken a long time for this to come to fruition, but I'm very happy to celebrate the publication of Conversations on the Bench today. Mr. Cartwright has done a remarkable job of capturing Sebastian's larger-than-life personality and of memorializing some of Sebastian's very poignant life lessons that were shared with me over the years. As I read the book, it was as if those conversations happened only yesterday. Mr. Cartwright vividly captured the conversations and really made Sebastian's voice shine through.
Sebastian was an inspiration for me and for many others who had the privilege of knowing him. His support, encouragement, and confidence in his friends always gave them the inspiration to work harder to achieve their goals, and his insights and wisdom were so relevant in applying to one's own life and challenges.
For me, Sebastian was a mentor and a teacher, and through our conversations over the years, he shared with me a lot of lessons in life and business that you don't learn in college. His lessons were things that you have to pick up on your own along the way or have shared with you by someone who's been there and done that. He was a good man and a good friend to many, and he had a tremendous positive influence on my life and on the lives of many others.
Conversations on the Bench is an altogether fitting and proper tribute to Sebastian. It's a way to ensure that he will never be forgotten and that the wisdom he shared over the years with me can be passed along to others now and for years to come.
