Israeli Author Publishes New Book about Faith

"Coincidence," a new book by Haim Averbuch, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Why was the Universe created? What is the purpose of this world? Is there a Creator in this existence?

Facing personal tragedies, diseases, natural disasters, death of young people, children and babies, causing a loss of faith…

It's not surprising that we ask ourselves-where is God? But God has not abandoned us; we turned more and more to other things. God is still present, waiting among us and in us, and when we turn to him again he will hear with his kindness and love.

About the Author:
Haim Averbuch was born in Paris in 1948. His parents immigrated to Israel in 1949. "Even though I received a religious education," he says, "my life was without any religious significance. A body without a soul."

After completing my military service, he spent many years doing business in Austria. He returned to Israel, married and had four children.

I was active in importing industrial consumer goods. Once, during my many trips abroad I happened to purchase a book, The Initiate, which changed my life and outlook.

A few years ago he was on a business trip to China where he met with many people. An emergency landing on one of his flights in China brought him in contact with a Chinese businessman. His questions about the essence of life and death gave Averbuch the opportunity to give the man a short survey of all that he had studied. The businessman was quite convinced and asked to remain in contact with Averbuch. From his questions Averbuch learned about the great thirst - and not only in China - for answers to many questions concerning the existence of the Universe, Creation, the Creator and Man's place in the world.

Averbuch gave lectures to high school students in Germany as well as in many other schools; he could see that there was a great thirst for these topics.
