New York, NY – Advanced Business Group, Inc., is proud to announce the acquisition of a new Heidelberg Printmaster Plus. This full-color printing press will serve two parallel business initiatives: adapting to changing business demands and introducing the ability to provide environmentally-friendly printing products. These initiatives are being implemented because ABG recognizes the overall industry trends: the increasing need for varied and customized business services and growing concerns about the impact of business choices on the environment. ABG, a Manhattan-based provider of printing services and marketing support, is an active member of the Better Business Bureau. Throughout the years, ABG became known as The Responsible Printer®. The company aggressively advances toward better serving its customers’ needs, as well as demonstrating a leadership position in environmental sustainability.
With these two parallel initiatives in mind, the company will use the purchase of the Heidelberg press as another step in meeting its goals. The press optimizes processes and print quality, as well as turnaround time. Michael J. Mulligan, ABG’s President & CEO says, “For our customers, this means high-quality printed materials delivered in a fraction of the time. We specialize in rush printing and the press allows us to make last minute changes and process incoming orders faster than ever.”
The press also adds value to ABG’s variable data capability, the capacity to offer full offset color marketing pieces and further expand the portfolio of services. In addition to printing, finishing, and binding, ABG offers graphic design, marketing and direct mailing services. “Firms don’t just want another printer; they want a one-stop source of integrated business solutions tailored specifically for them,” says Robert G. Reiss, a longtime client and the Chairman of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. “For us, ABG serves as such a provider. It’s a matter of convenience and knowing that we can rely on them.”
At the same time, ABG identifies the problem of limited natural resources, addresses it through its environmental management system and seeks to align itself with other companies that take a similar responsible approach to business. ABG believes that environmental responsibility is critical for today’s businesses and that even small companies should be accountable for their impact on the environment. ABG’s implementation of this system includes green purchasing, use of non-chemical solvents for production, and participation in recycling programs. The company also offers its clients the ability to select multiple substrates, including recycled paper.
ABG strives to be among those organizations that will lead the New York business community toward environmental responsibility. As one of the means of achieving this goal, ABG has affiliated itself with The National Arbor Day Foundation, planting trees on clients’ behalf. Consequently, this important cause is promoted, and the network of companies participating in the environmental enterprises grows.
