The LIC factory is a 15,000 square feet facility that has been completely transformed into a specialty workshop designed to produce all Alan David Custom suits and clothing. Prior to obtaining their new factory workshop, all Alan David Custom suits were crafted in a factory located in Canada. While this location suited the NYC clothier for several years, the addition of a local production facility close to Midtown offers a number of significant advantages. One of the most significant benefits has certainly been in the use of basted fittings, which is a temporary stitching that allows a suit to be resized and restyled as much as necessary.
