WebpageFX Designs Website for Local "Bring Kortne Home" Initiative

March 23, 2013 - CARLISLE, PA - Carlisle-based Internet marketing, web design and web development firm, WebpageFX, Inc recently designed and built a website for a local family whose daughter has been missing for eight months.

WebpageFX accepted a request from local TV station ABC 27 to assist Kortne Stouffer's family in gaining exposure for their cause, "Bring Kortne Home". ABC 27 created a TV ad which was broadcasted in Central Pennsylvania for two weeks in order to raise awareness. This ad directed viewers to the new website.

Kortne Stouffer, who is 21 years old, has been missing from Palmyra, PA since July 29, 2012. Extensive efforts to locate her have been ongoing since that day. The family is also offering a reward of $42,000 for any information that might help them locate Kortne.

The main purpose of the website is to garner as much information from the public as possible about Kortne's disappearance. Previously, there was no central location to send or receive these leads. The Stouffer family believes the website will coordinate their recovery efforts and increase exposure for "Bring Kortne Home".

The website includes a number to call with any information on Kortne's whereabouts, a donation option and blog posts with updates from the family. Due to advertising and investigative costs the Stouffer family has taken on, WebpageFX did not charge the Stouffer family to build the website.

"I was very happy to work on Kortne's website to contribute to the effort to bring her home, and have worked closely with Kortne's mother, Wendy, to make it a reality," Web Designer Ashley Mentzer said. "If one of my family members was missing, I can only hope local companies would volunteer to help in any way they can," she adds.
