Business Translation Company wins Enterprise Award

Applied Language Solutions win the inaugural ATL Enterprise Award.

UK based translation agency, Applied Language Solutions have been awarded the ATL Enterprise award for 2005.

The award, which was sponsored by KPMG, is awarded to independently owned businesses formed within the last 3 years. Applied Language has grown rapidly since they were founded by Managing Director Gavin Wheeldon in late 2003. The translation agency had to demonstrate why their service stands out from the crowd and how their philosophy drives the business forward.

“We provide translation services for all types of both electronic media and paper documents. The area that we excel in is providing translation of more complicated file formats, websites, design files etc. or very short deadlines.

We have an excellent in-house programming team which has developed what I believe to be the best Project & Sales Management system in the translation industry. We are now developing additional value for our customers and suppliers such as a portal for interaction with our systems and an interface to our internal system for integration from customers own systems such as CMS or eProcurement.

As a company we are very innovative and always strive for excellence. We have achieved ISO 9001 accreditation and are now working towards Investors in People. We have done things most companies would shy away from to achieve the growth and results we have. Winning this award really means a lot to me and the whole company who’ve worked so hard to take us from a standing start to where we are now.” Gavin said.

The Yorkshire Enterprise and Diversity Convention 2005 showcased the excellent work being carried out by ATL and it’s Partners in recognising and celebrating the achievements of a diverse business sector in Yorkshire.
