Latest Amy Kahn Russell Online Jewelry Trunk Show Builds Anticipation for Rendezvous Gallery Customers

Each new online trunk show features between 60 and 100 pieces of jewelry consisting of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pins doubling as pendants. Amy Kahn Russell’s bold collection combines semi-precious gemstones, natural minerals, pearls, shells, and found objects gathered from around the world.

Amy Kahn Russell jewelry collectors are enjoying the anticipation of what will be available in each new trunk show. Laura Hyche, of Meridian, Mississippi, says, “Boy, I would love to be there when the next box of goodies arrived!” Of the online trunk show format, Ann Jeffrey of Brooklyn, New York, says, “I look forward to each new show, to seeing what new designs and colors there are and what new additions I might add to my collection. I don’t have to travel to a store, deal with pushy salespeople, wonder when new things are coming in … with the online trunk show, it’s all right there. If I have any questions, all I have to do is send an email. It’s such a luxury to be at home and look at all of the beautiful pieces and then have my choices arrive in the mail, beautifully wrapped.”

In addition to the items featured online, Rendezvous Gallery also works closely with customers to locate coordinating pieces or special items on their “wish list.” Karen Burton, owner of Rendezvous Gallery, says, “I have two cat collectors. Amy will send me a grouping of items with carved cats and I will email images to the collectors for their consideration.” Another customer recently bought thirteen pairs of hard-to-find clip earrings. She had requested “funky big clips for “chicken” customers” referring to the customer’s decision not to pierce her ears. There is also competition at times for the jewelry. “I had two customers email me within twenty minutes of each other that they wanted the same two pins. I’ll be looking for something special to show the customer who wrote to me last!”
