American Photographic Artists Announces APA 2013 Photography Industry Survey

ATLANTA – January 29, 2013 – Calling all pro photographers! A survey by pro photographers, FOR pro photographers! American Photographic Artists cordially invites all working photographers within the USA to actively participate in the American Photographic Artists 2013 Photography Industry Survey, the most comprehensive survey ever conducted by APA, to read the pulse of our exciting and ever-evolving industry. Unlike most other surveys, this one is conducted by pro photographers, for pro photographers and will reward random participants in $2,500 worth of prizes.

"This will give us a good understanding of where photography rates are going and what some new trends may be — an important asset to the photography community," says APA President Theresa Raffetto. "Our National CEO, Steve Best has worked hard to acquire relevant prizes to be raffled off for those of you who complete the survey, and would like to participate in the raffle. Also, our Membership Representative, Jeff Kausch and our Los Angeles Chapter Co-Chairs, David Zaitz & Anthony Nex have spent a great deal of time configuring the new industry survey; a long awaited follow-up of our very successful 1999 survey."

Your anonymous participation in this survey will result in one of the best appraisals of the current state of our industry, as well as help uncover future trends, and facilitate planning. Questions cover a wide range of important subjects including rates, marketing, technology and production. The survey results will benefit photographers who want to know where they stand in this ever-changing business landscape, and arm us all with vital information that will help us succeed in moving our businesses forward.

We have created a sophisticated survey with a special system that lets you opt in to be eligible for the great prizes. Your identity will only be accessible if your email is randomly selected as a winner, and we contact you to send you your prize. (Prize winners will be notified directly and not be announced, publicly.) You can easily forgo the prize drawing, if you prefer.
