"The State of Michigan is making it really hard to get your property tax credit this year," Azzouz commented.

FACT: Those making more than $50,000 this year will be disqualified on property tax credit, this used to be $83,000.

When you consider this huge loss in addition to the changes made to the pension subtraction, it is an unfortunate reality that many Michiganders will not be getting a refund this year.

  • 1099 B's: This is the form you get from your broker about your investments. The first one you get may not be the final one, so please make sure it is marked Final Copy.
