Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) Hosts
Montréal Chapter Kickoff Reception
National Organization Invites Interested Women Presidents
Of Multimillion-Dollar Corporations To Reception
MONTRẾAL – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) will hold a Montréal chapter kickoff reception on Monday, Nov. 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the 5 Place Ville-Marie. WPO is a membership organization whose members are a diverse group of entrepreneurial women presidents who have guided their businesses to generate at least $2 million in gross annual sales or $1 million for a service-based business. All interested women presidents who qualify are invited to attend the reception.
The facilitator for the kickoff reception is Susan Boland, President of Bolex Consulting, a venture capital firm. Local WPO chapters, coordinated by a professional facilitator, meet once a month, before or after work hours, at convenient locations usually hosted by a local corporation, such as Business Development Bank of Canada in Montréal. For more information, contact Boland at 514-938-9527 or sboland@videotron.ca.
“I am excited to see WPO expand to Montréal, a growing area ripe with opportunity for women business owners,” said Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., president and founder of the WPO. “Chapter meetings offer a wonderful forum in which to meet and interact with other women business owners, and to discuss important business issues with women business owners who have similar experiences.”
