Dr. Anton Bilchik, MD, PhD, FACS, Chief of Medicine and Gastrointestinal Research at John Wayne Cancer Institute, is being honored by the Anti-Defamation League with its annual "Humanitarian Award." This prestigious award will be presented to Dr. Bilchik on Tuesday, December 11th at the Anti-Defamation League's 2012 Annual Dinner Celebration in Beverly Hills, California. This event is also slated to kick-off the Anti-Defamation League's 2013 Centennial year celebrations. Dr Bilchik, a long time supporter of the Anti-Defamation League, is dedicated to giving back to the community. He has established community outreach programs in undeserved areas to help spread vital information on cancer prevention and available treatment options. In addition, Dr. Bilchik has received numerous accommodations from the mayors of Inglewood, California and Carson, California for his outstanding work in the inner city.
