Minicom to Showcase it's Video-Over-CAT5 Distribution Systems for Digital Signage at this month's Government Video Expo

Minicom Advanced Systems, a leading provider of audio/video distribution systems for the digital signage market, will be demonstrating its innovative Video-Over-CAT5 distribution solutions at the Government Video Expo in Washington DC’s convention center, Nov. 30 –Dec.1.

Minicom's Video Display System (VDS) can distribute content in real-time from any type of computer/ player to any type of screen. It transmits high quality video and audio over standard CAT5 cable to multiple screens over long distances of up to 110m/360 ft.
“When you use a VDS system, you don’t need additional computing power at the display side. For large digital display networks, this can add up to big savings. The VDS is the best value for the distance on the market today,” added Dave.
Minicom KVM and video extenders provide real-time control for critical PSAP and control room installations. They allow the consolidation of servers for both maintenance improvement and sound and space considerations while providing real time video and control at a dispatch or control location.
