"Love Poems and Other Poems," a new book by Alyce Fisher, has been released by RoseDog Books.

The author tells a story about her life, which was a most unusual one. Sometimes sad, sometimes happy, she has been through it all.

Born in Italy in 1921, her family migrated to America when she was three.

She ran into trouble when, at the age of ten, she contracted tuberculosis. She had three bouts with that disease. The happiest thing that happened in the hospital was that she met the man who would become her husband. It was the start of a fifty-two year marriage. A happier one could not be found.
