Automotive Giants Set To Dazzle At ME Motor Show

The 8th Middle East International Motor Show 2005 is set to dazzle its audience as more than ninety automobile manufacturers, customisers, designers and tuners display the best in design and technology the world has to offer. The show takes place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from December 12-16, 2005.“The Dubai Motor Show attracts a truly international level of participation and showcases the latest launches and developments from all the global car manufacturers,” said DWTC Director General, Helal Saeed Khalfan Al Marri.
Prominent among the leading automobile manufacturers on show at this year’s event include BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, Chrysler, General Motors, Ford, Ferrari, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Maserati, Porsche, Pagani, Land Rover, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagen, Audi, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Peugeot plus many more.
Mr. Al Marri noted that the considerable presence of automotive giants is designed to target the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries that present a fast-growing market for the automobile industry and enormous opportunities for the motor trade as well as aftermarket supplies.
Buyers, car enthusiasts and admirers will get an opportunity to view the single largest display of vehicles in the Middle East that will include concept cars, prototypes, luxury vehicles, 4 wheel drives, sports utility vehicles, racing cars, family sedans, custom built vehicles, high performance enhanced vehicles, retro, kit cars, bikes, trikes, quads, off-terrain buggies, commercial vehicles as well as motor parts, accessories, car finish products, and a host of automotive-related products and services.
Alongside all these displays are a whole host of exciting promotions including car give aways, prize draws, competitions – Monster Car Auto Challenge-2, hobbies, racing gear, memorabilia, car graphics, finish products, interactive games and some of the finest car entertainment systems from around the world designed to thrill and delight all age groups.
Many of the Middle East countries are seeing a massive surge in the number of new and used cars being sold annually. In addition to its premier position in the automobile trade, Dubai finds itself in the enviable position as the leading hub for auto parts trade and re-exports in the region, with access to over 1.5 billion consumers across three continents.

Doors open from 11am – 10pm from 12 - 15 December 2005 and 3pm-10pm on the 16 December (Friday) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
