Metally.net Launches Guitar Tablature Database For Heavy Metal Music Fans
November 16, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
The Metal Loves You music portal has now added an index of heavy metal and death metal song tablatures to it's other features, which include a metal lyrics and wallpaper archive. The tabs database, that can be accessed at http://www.metally.net/metal_tabs/index.html, is split up in 26 different pages, one for each letter of the alphabet, on which all the bands are ordered alphabetically to make the whole content easily accessible. Currently there are over 9,000 different tablatures for over thousand heavy metal bands and artists available on Metally.net. Most of those are guitar tabs, but there is a great number of bass tablatures and drum tablatures disposable as well.
There are guitar tablatures available for very popular metal bands and artists like Metallica (at http://www.metally.net/metal_tabs/band/339/Metallica.html/), Slayer (at http://www.metally.net/metal_tabs/band/391/Slayer.html/) and of course Iron Maiden (at http://www.metally.net/metal_tabs/band/223/Iron-Maiden.html) but many "underdogs" of the genre are represented, too.
"Providing this huge amount of tablatures for free is an important step for Metally.net, as those enable fans to identify with the music they listen to much better and help them to learn all the tricks professional metal bands use in their songs ," said Thomas Höfter, the owner of http://www.metally.net/.
It is planned to update the tablature database regularly with the songs of newly released albums to ensure that it stays up to date. All updates will be announced on the tabs index page, which can be found at http://www.metally.net/metal_tabs/index.html and on our partner music news website http://www.musictopic.net/.
