Jim Walberg is a delegate to the FIABCI-USA Symposium on global sustainable housing

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 27, 2012 – Jim Walberg of Keller Williams Realty International joined 75 top global housing professionals for the FIABCI-USA Symposium on housing sustainability issues.

According to Walberg, the symposium was an educational opportunity for housing professionals who have a commitment to learning about various global housing sustainability solutions. "This inspiring symposium provided the cutting edge solutions for sustainable housing from various United Nations presenters – the UN Economic & Social Council, the UN Economic Commission for Europe and the UN Habitat," said Walberg.

"FIABCI – The International Real Estate Federation" is a non-political entity whose objective is to help its members add an international dimension to their businesses. FIABCI helps members acquire knowledge, develop networks and optimize business opportunities all over the world. It is a special consultant with NGO status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations Organization (ECOSOC).

"Attending the FIABCI-USA New York City Symposium is a part of my on-going education regarding local and global issues pertaining to all aspects of housing," said Walberg. Jim Walberg has been a part of the San Francisco Bay Area real estate community for over 30 years. Walberg is a member of the FIABCI – The International Real Estate Federation board of directors which is based in Paris, France. He is responsible for FIABCI's international intern program - university students as interns in foreign countries learning local methods of practicing real estate.
