Figures from The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) have revealed that 10,015 people went under the knife in 2011 and numbers rose by 6.2 per cent from 2010 – showing a serious increase in demand. Commenting on the report from BAAPS, Miss Franklin said: "Breast enlargements are popular for a reason. They allow women to feel youthful and beautiful and can change their outlook on life considerably. Women tend to act more positively with an enhanced cleavage, so I wouldn't be surprised to see further increases in the number of operations."

As well as acknowledging the benefits of boob jobs, Cosmetic Surgery Guru has also praised boob-boosting lingerie. According to the site, every woman should have some decent underwear, as it can help them to feel glamorous. This is backed up by a recent Manchester-based study, which suggests uplifting underwear can improve confidence levels by 75 per cent.
