Credentials Solutions Announces Optimized Transcript Delivery Service, Transcript ExchangePlus™

NORTHFIELD, IL - Credentials Solutions announces the launch of their newest service offering, Transcript ExchangePlus™, a comprehensive solution that optimizes transcript fulfillment and delivery and does not require the use of Credentials for online transcript ordering.

Transcript ExchangePlus™ is designed to maximize electronic transcript reach by supporting EDI, XML and PDF formats, while integrating a highly automated process for printing and mailing paper transcripts. EDI/XML transcripts are delivered through the Texas server, eTranCA, Ohio Board of Regents Articulation & Transfer Clearinghouse, or other available state and regional hubs. Receiving institutions can download EDI, XML, and PDF transcripts directly from Credentials or have them delivered to a file directory on their server. Transcripts are delivered in whatever format the receiving institution can accommodate.

Credentials Solutions has taken the core competencies they've developed and packaged them into an all-encompassing, optimized transcript delivery service. "Schools receive the highest level of integration when they use us for online transcript ordering," said Credentials Solutions CEO Thomas McKechney. "However, we realized that we can save more institutions time and money by offering them an optimized transcript delivery service, even if they do not use us for their ordering."

Whether the school has an automated solution for transcript ordering in-house or through a third party, Credentials' Transcript ExchangePlus™ is the single source for optimized transcript delivery. Five schools have been early adopters and implemented the service during the pilot program, which commenced in November 2011. Two major state universities have recently contracted to participate as well.

"We feel that despite all the advancements in online transcript ordering and fulfillment, Higher Ed is still hemorrhaging money," said McKechney. "Our goal with Transcript ExchangePlus™ is to provide a service that offers optimized transcript delivery, while eliminating overhead and helping schools get back to serving their students."
