TriActive Kids (http://www.triactivekids.com/) is now open for business! The world’s first outdoor fitness products virtual shop for children, teens, and families joins the parent company, TriActive America (www.triactiveamerica.com), in the world of
e-commerce.
Unveiled just in time for holiday gift-giving season, TriActive Kids features products designed to improve balance, enhance flexibility, strengthen the cardiovascular system, build muscle, and more. From the initial design to the manufacturing process to the final testing and quality control to the instructional decals to the shipping process and follow-up, the TriActive Kids staff and consultants have one goal: to provide our customers with the highest quality in every way!
"When I created the original concept for TriActive Kids, my goal was two-fold: first, to focus on fitness products that would help teachers, coaches, leaders, and school administrators in their roles of motivating children to lead active lives, and second, to provide exercise equipment and information designed to help parents and relatives serve as role models for their children," explained site originator Joanne Eglash, who created the site under the guidance of TriActive America CEO James Sargen. Eglash has more than 15 years of experience in the high-tech world, and her credentials include authoring "How to
Write a .com Business Plan: the Internet Entrepreneur’s Guide to Business Plans and Financing Options, published by McGraw-Hill."
As visitors will note when they arrive at the TriActive Kids Web site — http://www.triactivekids.com/ — special features include an area designed specifically for parents and relatives and a section designed just for teachers, coaches, leaders, and administrators. The products are divided into age-appropriate categories, with equipment designed for older children, teens, and adults designated separately from the products helpful for all ages, from 8 to 80-plus!
"My personal favorite part of the Web site is the TriActive Kids Advisory Board, featuring a three-year-old ‘chairkid’, Autumn Rose Sargen!" Joanne added. The granddaughter of CEO James P. Sargen and daughter of CFO Marc Sargen, Autumn is in charge of the following essential activities at TriActive Kids:
_ Play
_ Nap time
_ Juice time
_ Twirl-around-and-jump-up-and-down time
About TriActive America and TriActive Kids
Headquartered in San Luis Obispo, Calif., TriActive America and TriActive Kids specialize in providing outdoor fitness equipment for all ages and fitness levels. For example, a resort, community, or townhouse association might want to design a walking or fitness trail around the grounds, with strategically
placed fitness stations. These fitness stations contain signs explaining how to use the equipment, ranging from cardiovascular to strength-training apparatuses. A city park could create a "fitness zone" with the equipment, in contrast, a university might want to set up a fitness area or fitness challenge
course for their staff and students . In addition, many homeowners have incorporated exercise into their daily lives by installing TriActive exercise equipment in their backyards.
