Cynthia Morgan awarded New Debit PIN Security Certification

Ace In The Hole Management, a mid-west consulting and audit firm based in St. Louis, Missouri, offers the new debit PIN Security Audit (TC-3, formerly TR-39) conducted by certified auditor, Cynthia Morgan. This audit is required by major bankcard providers including NYCE, Pulse, and Star.

Cynthia Morgan is a certified TG-3 Auditor, CTGA. She has successfully completed the examination for Network Security Compliance for PIN and Key Management. CTGA is a new accreditation awarded to auditors that pass a comprehensive exam related to the technical, administrative and physical controls for protection of PIN debit transactions.

The purpose of the TG-3 audit is to confirm adequate security measures are in place to protect the consumer's secret PIN at an ATM or POS device between the transaction and until it reaches the financial institution for approval. Every financial institution that processes PIN debit transactions for STAR, NYCE, and PULSE is required to complete a bi-annual audit.
