This FREE event will be held on Wednesday, November 30th, 12:00-1:30pm at Borders Books and Music, 10-24 School St., Downtown Crossing, Boston.

One of the hosts, Maria Salomao-Schmidt, is an MBA entrepreneur and mom of three. She believes that in order to make a world a better place to live, people need to change the way they work and live. Through her work at Brick House Realty, she works with her clients to obtain better financial security so they can fulfill their passions. "Most women don't buy homes because it's scary. Scary to me, though, is getting to a place where you realize that all those years of paying rent could have already paid for home and now they have nothing," she says.

Her co-host, Sheira MacKenzie, is new to the area after living in Newport, RI, and has been in the mortgage industry for 5 years. Working as a mortgage planner, she has the opportunity to provide the joy of home ownership while working with her clients to incorporate their home loan into their long term financial goals.
