The Defense Logistics Awards has been established to honor, recognize and promote the logisticians in the US Department of Defense and the Defense Industry that have made a significant contribution to military logistics. This year, the winners of the Annual Defense Logistics Awards will be announced during the Awards Dinner at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, VA on December 4, 2012.

From now until October 4, 2012 you can nominate yourself, your team, your peer, partner, or client for the following 6 categories:

1. Cost Savings and Performance Improvement Award
2. Best Logistics Strategy: A Specific Project Or Military-Contractor
3. Best PBL Implementation
4. Military - Military Collaboration of the Year: Rewarding The Joint Effort
5. Beyond The Call Of Duty: Logistician Of The Year
6. 2012 Logistician Lifetime Achievement Award
