KWCH 12; the CBS television affiliate in Wichita, Kansas; recently advised travelers to get "consumer feedback" on hotels by visiting "HotelShark.com." The recommendation was posted on KWCH.com on November 2, 2005, in a piece entitled "Star-Crossed Hotel Ratings."

The segment said that to maximize the chance that "your next hotel stay" is "just what you bargained for," read "HotelShark.com" to "get the inside scoop from people who've actually stayed at the hotel." Without the site, "it can be hard to know what you'll find when you get to your room."

The endorsement is the second from a network television station in as many weeks. In late October, the ABC television network affiliate in Chicago recommended HotelShark.com.
