July 04, 2012 (PRLEAP.COM) Travel News
The Singapore leg of this year's Formula Drift Asia Pro Championships will be taking place at the Changi Exhibition Centre on June 30th and July 1st.Drift racing is one of the world's most exciting motorsports, seeing top drivers manoeuvring their vehicles through closed courses and throwing themselves sideways into turns, with performance judged by execution and style just as much as speed.
The racing action will last from 10:00 to 18:00 local time for both days of the event, during which spectators will be able to see competitors from across the Asia-Pacific region taking part.
It is the second leg of the current Formula Drift Asia series, which commenced in Malaysia in May and will conclude later this year with events in Thailand and Indonesia.
Tickets are available online now and are priced between S$30 and S$55 (£15.10 and £27.70).
Access to the Changi Exhibition Centre is facilitated by the availability of a shuttle bus service running to and from Tanah Merah MRT Station every 30 minutes.
