Carbonless Forms Printing Company Reduces Environmental Impact with New Tree-Free Envelopes

Michigan-based custom carbonless forms printing company Printlink has taken steps to reduce their environmental footprint with the release of new TreeFrog envelopes by National Envelope.

As a National Envelope approved customer, Printlink will have exclusive access to this environmentally-responsible product.

TreeFrog envelopes are 100% tree-free and contain no wood or wood fibers. They are made with a sugar cane by-product called bagasse. The paper is produced from this by-product during sugar manufacturing and refining.

In addition, the envelopes are Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) and contain up to 15% less bleach than other types of paper. They are also produced using 100% wind power.

TreeFrog envelopes require no special handling. They are biodegradable and compostable, and can be recycled using standard paper recycling methods.

TreeFrog envelopes are now available for purchase from the Printlink website.

Earlier this year, Printlink implemented additional environmental improvements with a new line of paper from National Envelope that can be used as an alternative to chemical pulp coated paper and new pre-press operations equipment that eliminates the need for film and chemicals.

Printlink is a full service printing company that specializes in short-and medium-run custom business envelopes, ncr forms, checks, and custom business forms.
