Singapore will become a haven for lovers of a good drink when Beerfest Asia 2012 is held at the Marina Promenade this June.
 
An estimated 32,000 guests are expected to descend on the festival venue between June 7th and 10th, with this year's event set to build on the growth that Beerfest Asia has seen over the years.
 
On its debut in 2009, the festival featured 24 exhibitors and 200 beers, growing to 40 stands and 300 beers last year, where a total of around 200,000 drinks were consumed.
 
For 2012, 50 new beers will be introduced - alongside lagers, ciders, spirits, champagne and wine - and the festival will also feature plenty of non-alcohol-related entertainment.
 
Two international tribute bands will be featured alongside top Singapore musicians, while bar games, a daily raffle, live comedians and a beauty pageant will all be available.
 
Tickets are available online from S$15 (£12), with all prices including one complimentary beer to be redeemed on the festival grounds.
 
Public opening times run from 18:00 to 01:00 local time on the first day, 18:00 to 03:00 on June 8th and 9th, and 12:00 to 22:00 on the final day.
