Coldwell Banker United, Realtors® Promotes Helen Edwards To Lead Operations For Entire Company For Five-State Operation

BRYAN, Texas – May 17, 2012 – Richard Smith, CEO of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors®, The 6th largest real estate company in the United States, announced today Helen Edwards has been promoted to president/chief operating officer for the entire company that serves Texas, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Previously, Edwards served as president/chief operating officer and relocation director of the Austin Region, leading operations for ten offices. In her new role, Edwards will oversee nearly 70 residential branch offices and three commercial branch offices in five states with a sales force of more than 2,000 sales associates and more than 250 employees

Edwards has 30 years of experience in residential real estate, and has been with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors® since 1991. Prior to her most recent role with the company, she held positions as corporate service manager, relocation director of the Austin Division and vice president of relocation and sales in Round Rock, a suburb of Austin. During her time at Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS she has led several award-winning teams, and received the industry's and company's highest honors for office management and customer service excellence.

She was chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Texas Association of REALTORS in 2011, serves on the board of directors for the Austin Board of REALTORS and is a member of the Women's Council of REALTORS.
