Valorous Training Director to Assist in the National Security Management Course at Syracuse University

May 9, 2012 - Syracuse, N.Y. - Valorous Training Director Jim Lewis is going back to school. Jim, a 1983 graduate of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, has been asked to return to Syracuse (where he was student body president) to help run the 2012 National Security Management Course-the nation's premier executive training course for national security professionals. The two-week, intensive course features distinguished guest speakers from government, journalism and private industry and is attended by students at the GS-15, O6 or flag rank equivalent.
"I'm thrilled to be asked to go home to Syracuse to lend a hand with this program," Jim said. "NSMC is the best course of its kind in the nation and it will be an honor to represent Valorous at the Maxwell School."
Jim recently retired from the Central Intelligence Agency after a distinguished 24-year career that saw him win multiple awards including an Intelligence Commendation Medal. He was named Valorous Training Director in February of 2012.
