Doctor Flue, inc. awards contest winner with trip to Aruba

Doctor Flue, inc.®, a leading chimney services company serving Michigan and Ohio, awards a trip to Aruba every year to a loyal customer. The 2012 trip was awarded to Linda Scott of Manchester, Mich. on April Fool's Day, April 1.

Doctor Flue, inc. specializes in fireplace installation, fireplace restoration, chimney repair, chimney relining, chimney sweeping, and chimney inspection. Customers who scheduled an onsite appointment with a Doctor Flue, inc. certified sweep between April 15, 2011 and March 30, 2012 received a ticket and were entered in the contest. An additional ticket was issued every time a customer spent $100 spent with Doctor Flue, inc. Customers filled out a brief survey with their ticket numbers to enter the contest.

Linda Scott's winning ticket number was randomly selected April 1. Doctor Flue, inc. surprised Scott with the trip thanks to the help of her daughter.

"I'm so excited because Aruba is beautiful, and it was the last place my husband and I vacationed together before he passed away," said Scott. "Other people had given me tickets for the drawing, but it was my actual ticket from work done on the house that was the winner."

Scott and a guest will spend one week at the Playa Linda Resort located on the white sand Palm Beach in Aruba. Roundtrip airfare, taxi services, and lodging is provided. The studio space features a small kitchen with dining area, private balcony, and accommodates up to four people. The Playa Linda Resort boasts various planned events each day including coffee, windsurfing, karaoke, and a free Salsa and Merengue dance lesson, among other activities.
