Atlantis in Peril, a new book by Bobbie Cox Heard, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Trudith, Supreme Commander of Atlantis, has been having dreams of the city's destruction. As the dreams continue, she becomes convinced that Atlantis is doomed.

Osiris, the Spiritual leader of Atlantis for thousands of years, traveled the sparsely populated world 35,000 years ago and left journals of his travels. At that time, Osiris led Atlantis in a world of spiritual genius and technical intellect unknown in any other part of the world. After his demise, their spiritual world began to slowly disintegrate until there were only a few practicing and keeping the religion alive.

Fearing that Atlantis's great technology would be lost, Trudith studied the journals Osiris had left and sent three expeditions into the known world in an attempt to pass on this knowledge and technology and to save the remaining Atlanteans.

One ship was sent to the Nile, one to the Gulf Coast to save a group of Neanderthals stagnating in development, and a crew to Lower Mexico who had seemed to Osiris to be deserving of help.

Bobbie Heard has had a lifelong interest in reading historical and mythical books. Her business background includes traveling for a corporation in Houston, Texas, in her capacity as a staff manager. She has plans to write books about her travels in the U.S.A. and vacations in Nassau, Jamaica, Barbados, Mexico City and Acapulco.

Mrs. Heard is a widow and lives in the countryside outside a large Texas city, along with her three cats, on an acre and a half of heavily wooded land.
