Thule Racks 9028, 9029, 9030 and 9031 Vertex Hitch Bike Racks Now Available

Following quickly on the heels of the recent launch of the premium Apex Series, Thule Racks has also just released for purchase and shipment throughout the United States the all-new Vertex hitch bike racks series. Replacing the now discontinued RoadWay series, the Vertex models deliver an optimal blend of high performance features, modern design styling and affordable pricing. The current line up includes the Thule 9031 Vertex Swing 4, 9030 Vertex 5, 9029 Vertex 4 and 9028 Vertex 2. High end, ease of use componentry is integrated on all models, while locking security accessories are available for purchase separately. All models are available for purchase and immediate shipment from ORS Racks Direct.

Headlining the new series is the unique Thule 9031 Vertex Swing 4 hitch bike rack (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-vertex-swing-away-hitch-bike-rack-9031.html), featuring a swing away design that was previously unavailable in the former RoadWay Series. The well designed Vertex Swing hitch bike rack swings away and off to the side of the vehicle for truly convenient access to the back of the car, even when all the bikes are mounted onto the carrier. Other advanced features include the Hold Fast bike cradles with integrated No Sway cages that provide optimal bicycle stability and protection during transit. The bike arms can also fold down, allowing for a more compact configuration for parallel parking, entering garages etc. Full system locking security accessories for securing the bicycles to the carrier and locking the bike rack itself to the vehicle are optionally available for purchasing separately. The Thule 9031 Vertex accommodates up to 4 bikes and fits 2" trailer hitch receivers.

The other two models available are the Thule 9030 Vertex 5 hitch bike rack (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-vertex-5-bike-hitch-rack-9030.html), which transports up to five bicycles, replaces the 915XT RoadWay and fits 2 inch trailer hitches, and the Thule 9028 Vertex 2 hitch bike rack (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-vertex-2-bike-hitch-rack-9028.html), which carries one or two bikes, replaces the 912XT RoadWay and fits both 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers. These two models are designed with the same tilt down feature found on the 9030 Vertex 4 model. Simply releasing the proprietary Hitch Switch lever will allow the entire carrier to tilt down and out of the way for access to the back of the vehicle. Otherwise, the 9028 Vertex 2 and 9030 Vertex 5 include all the same high-end features found on the other Vertex models already discussed above.
