RPR Wyatt Announces VitalSigns 11 at Belgium Lotus User Group

At BLUG, Antwerp Belgium — March 22, 2012 – RPR Wyatt today announced the upcoming release of VitalSigns 11 – the premiere IBM Lotus Domino monitoring tool. The new release of VitalSigns joins two other recent RPR Wyatt product upgrades for Essential Agent Master and Essential Tools.

VitalSigns is a comprehensive monitoring and reporting tool for Lotus Domino servers, clusters, Lotus Notes databases, Lotus Sametime servers, BlackBerry Enterprise servers, Traveler servers and more. This release culminates a year of new features and enhancements based on customer requests and feedback, including:

Significantly enhanced Lotus Traveler monitoring, including the ability to consolidate users from multiple Traveler servers into a single, unified view complete with administrative actions such as Wipe Device and changing device "Approval" status.

A switch to Microsoft SQL Server (or SQL Server Express) as the backend data store, replacing Microsoft Access.

Using SQL Server as VitalSigns' underlying data store lays the groundwork for faster reporting, multiple distributed monitoring stations with consolidated data, and 64-bit performance. "As we expand VitalSigns to monitor all key client utilized technologies such as Microsoft Exchange and Sharepoint, a 64-bit data store was imperative" says Joe Thumma, CTO of RPR Wyatt.
