Scottsdale, AZ – Poisoned Pen Press is pleased to announce four recent award nominees:Dead Man's Switch by Tammy Kaehler- nominated for the Best First Novel Eureka! Award;
A Killing Season by Priscilla Royal nominated for The Bruce Alexander Memorial Historical Mystery Award;
Mercury's Rise by Ann Parker, nominated for the Agatha Award for Best Historical Novel and The Bruce Alexander Memorial Historical Mystery Award.
The Eureka! Award and The Bruce Alexander Memorial Historical Mystery Award will be presented on March 31, 2012 at an awards banquet during the Left Coast Crime convention. First held in San Francisco in 1991, Left Coast Crime is an annual mystery convention organized by mystery fiction fans for mystery fiction fans.
The Agatha Awards will be presented at an awards banquet held during the Malice Domestic® convention on April 28, 2012. Established in 1989, Malice Domestic® is an annual mystery fiction fan convention held in metropolitan Washington, D.C. The Agatha Awards salute traditional mysteries-those works best typified by the works of Agatha Christie.
