BlockMaster and COMPUTERLINKS Sign Agreement to offer Managed Secure USB Drives

February 29, 2012 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, (USA) RSA2012 – BlockMaster today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with COMPUTERLINKS, one of the world's leading distributors of IT security solutions.

The partnership will extend BlockMaster's product offering in North America, where BlockMaster is seeing increasing demand for hardware encrypted secure USB drives that can be centrally managed.

"BlockMaster is thrilled to partner with COMPUTERLINKS as we go deeper into the North American market. They have a strong value-added approach and COMPUTERLINKS portfolio of security products especially CryptoCard and Safend complement BlockMaster's offerings." said Daniel Östner, CEO at BlockMaster.

In addition to the SafeConsole management server software from BlockMaster, COMPUTERLINKS will be taking on SafeXs cross-platform hardware encrypted secure USB drives, which is a line of SafeConsoleReady Devices from the manufacturer C TWO.

"Managed secure USB drives are rapidly becoming a necessity in environments where security is imperative due to data leak, compliance or privacy concerns. The risks related to the loss of an unprotected USB storage device are colossal, jobs can be lost and organizations thrown into financial turmoil," says Anders Kjellander, CSO at BlockMaster.

As the need for managed secure USB solutions increases, BlockMaster will be looking to quickly expand its reseller base via COMPUTERLINKS extensive network of security and compliance focused channel partners to meet this demand. Interested resellers should contact their COMPUTERLINKS sales executive or sales@blockmastersecurity.com.

"COMPUTERLINKS welcomes this new product to our portfolio, as we further develop the security offerings required by our customers," stated Russell Zientek, CEO of COMPUTERLINKS. "Ensuring the control and safe-keeping of sensitive data is one of our focal points as a security solutions distributor and is of prime importance for our reseller partners and their customers."

BlockMaster has been recognized one of top 50 fastest growing IT companies on the Deloitte FAST500 EMEA list.
