SPECTRACOM ANNOUNCES INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVE

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK — Spectracom Corporation announced today the formation of a new International Sales division. The new division will focus on meeting the needs of customers outside of the continental United States and Canada. The company reports that international markets make up a substantial portion of the overall time and frequency industry. This initiative is an integral component of the company’s strategy to broaden its base and serve next-generation network customers. To support this initiative, the company has appointed industry veteran Ilan Havered as Vice President, International Sales. Mr. Havered has served in executive sales positions at Datum Corporation and, most recently, with Symmetricom.

The International Sales team will be based in Glendale, California, with support staff from Spectracom’s headquarters in Rochester and its Austin, Texas-based Telecom division.
