The 2012 challenge kicks off with an individual time trial in Putrajaya, with subsequent stages to take in locations such as Bentong, Kuantan, Genting Highlands and, for the first time, Terengganu.
 
In total, cyclists will need to travel 1,415.5 km if they want to claim the grand prize.
