This is a story of a person who faces triumphs and trials throughout her life. It seems that the tragedies that get society's attention are the ones that mostly result in death or involve the lives of celebrities. The main character of this story, however, follows all the rules of her family, society, and her faith while trying to fulfill the American Dream.

Throughout the story, this woman constantly relies on prayers and scriptures when facing the hardest moments of her life. In her attempts to do the right thing, she faces betrayal, deception and lies, resulting in her incarceration.

About the Author

CC Carter has embarked on various career paths, but never once thought about writing. She has a B.S. degree, was married only once, and has one child. Carter was born and raised in the Midwest but for the last twenty years, has lived in the Northeast region. For the remaining years in this life, she hasn't quite decided where to live. Wherever future travels lead, she prays to continue learning the marvels of God's blessings.
