Microscopists On The Move In November

Atlanta, GA- MVA Scientific Consultants will be participating in a number of events this month. On November 6-8th, Senior Research Scientist and Executive Director Mary A. Miller will be at the “Partners in Particle Analysis” exhibit at the 2005 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN. Located in booth 2823, the exhibit is a joint presentation of MVA Scientific Consultants and its strategic alliance partner Micromeritics Analytical Services (MAS). Miller, along with a representative from MAS, will be available to discuss particle characterization methods designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Tim Vander Wood, Senior Research Scientist and Managing Director at the Firm, will head to Dallas TX to attend the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) International E56 Nanotechnology Meeting on November 5th-7th. Dr. Vander Wood is a founding member of the E56 Committee, which currently consists of 70 members and organizations representing over twelve countries.

Research Microscopist Bryan R. Bandli will visit Hitachi High Technologies America to attend a Variable Pressure SEM Course. The Course held at Hitachi America’s East Coast Applications Lab in Gaithersburg MD will be on November 15, 17 and 20th
