Sydney, January 2,2012 - 1300apprentice, a Group Training Company (GTO) is now compliant with the EOWW (The Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency) Act for 2011. EOWW agency administers the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act (1999). 1300apprentice works for the benefit of women in Australia. This new achievement will definitely help in the future growth of the company.

1300apprentice has taken many initiatives within the organization for the advancement of women employees in the workplace. It has collaborated more flexibly and pro-actively for the overall development of both women and business.

In this EOWW agency, only private sector organizations, higher education institutions, group training schemes, unions, community organizations and non-Government schools with more than 100 employees can take part. About 1300apprentice

1300apprentice is a not-for-profit company and has been operating for over 20 years. With four divisions, STE, Capitol Skills Centre (CSC), Wollongong Training and Employment (WTE) and Sydney Recruitment Labour (SRL), they cater to the requirement of approximately 300 apprentices' jobs and trainees' job in approximately 40 different vocational areas. They provide temporary staff such as Trade Assistants, Production Workers
and Construction Labourers. Labour hire can be supplied for a short or long term period at competitive rates.

Recruitment

Administration
Includes Contracts, Payroll and Superannuation

Worker's Compensation
They manage insurance, handle any claims and coordinate return-to-work programs when required.

Permanent Recruitment

Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)
STE 1300apprentice have a commitment to OH&S and this is demonstrated by:

Workplace inspection prior to commencement of contract staff.
