Carlos Knight is supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, a non-profit organization that promotes the health, education, social, vocational and character development of boys and girls ages 6 through 18. The club offers services that teach skills for future success while also providing a safe place for Boys & Girls to come year-round. Members can partake in athletic programs and events, reading clubs, music groups, field trips, arts and crafts, and enjoy both a teen and technology center.
"We're really thrilled to have Taylor and Carlos take part in our Holiday event. They represent the younger generation that will inherit much of our mounting E-Waste problem," says Trish Mahon of Planet Green. "Our young people will be the most impacted by the current 'throw-away' mentality, and we are hoping that they can help us change behavior and educate their fan base on the importance of recycling electronics so we can help preserve the future of the planet."
Planet Green Recycle (www.planetgreenrecycle.com)is urging everyone to join them for Recycle. Reuse. Rejoice to raise money for all six non-profit groups. They are hoping their new "Eco-Giving" concept will raise environmental consciousness as well as critical dollars for these cash-strapped charities during these tough economic times.
