Lil' Iguana Live - child safety stage show at Stewartstown Community School, October 10 2011, 1:00PM

West Stewartstown, NH – Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation (www.liliguanausa.org), the leader in proactive and preventative child safety programs, announced today it will be performing an award-winning safety educational stage show at the Stewartstown Community School in West Stewartstown, NH on Monday, October 10th at 1:00 PM. Lil' Iguana will perform at the request of Lydia Johnson, Principal of the Stewartstown Community School and in response to community concern over recent child safety matters in their community and the desire for the children of the community to feel safe again. Principal Johnson reached out to Lil' Iguana as the leader in proactive and preventative safety-educational programs.

The Leader in Proactive Music-Based Child Safety Programs

The Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation's mission is to use prevention programs to save children from child abduction, child predators, and serious accidental injuries with proactive music-based elementary safety education programs that are designed specifically for children ages 2 through 9 so they will retain crucial safety messages.

Lil' Iguana has been the leader in child abduction prevention programs for over a decade, and uses educational and proactive teaching mechanisms to ensure children stay safe throughout their childhoods. Lil' Iguana offers two options for child safety programs:

Lil' Iguana Live! is a 45-minute music driven, live, interactive stage show featuring the costume character Lil' Iguana and actors. It reinforces crucial safety messages through themed songs, skits, and demonstrations.

Lil' Iguana's In-School Program features the costume character Lil' Iguana, an instructor, and video aids. This program encourages children to participate in questions and answer sessions, singing and dancing, and interactive role playing which enables the program to deliver safety educational content in a personal and non-threatening manner. The smaller setting allows for children to be more comfortable asking the tough safety questions and getting the important answers they need.
